The VOCL GOMA Continuous Learning
We are the area’s only organization established to share information, offer a platform to ask questions and provide feedback, educate and inform potential new volunteers to any board, office or organization, and to Be Ready so you don’t need to Get Ready when it comes time for lot owners to step up. We need tomorrow’s volunteers to be ready today, ready to take on active, knowledgeable and effective leadership roles as they contribute in service to our community.
We strive to be committed to the student lot owners we are privileged to serve, and take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionaries, well-wishers, alumni and friends.
And finally – and most importantly – we know that only in an environment where we all continuously learn and progress can we improve ourselves, our community, and hopefully the world we live in.

Mission Statement
Our mission at GOMA VOA is to develop and present the unique abilities and potential of each current and future board, committee and volunteer member throughout our development by offering an enriched educational program, factual information, connections, and access to alumni and experienced neighbors and friends to help our community forward, together. We strive for excellence through open communications, established norms, written processes and procedures, and a common sense approach towards solving our community challenges as they arrive by constantly improving our hands-on approach, our innovative curriculum, and growing pool of productive, caring, and intellectually curious citizens in-the-ready to step up and carry on our community forward.

Our Philosophy
We, at VOA, follow a real-world-centered educational approach. We make sure that it is based on scientific observations, proven methods, and team-based approaches that have been employed in the real world and having developed a well respected track record. We believe that many folks carry on into their retirement a child-like curiosity and is capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared environment.
